My task was porting & optimising Operation Catalyst cutscenes for third/fourth generation Xbox.
I worked on the 1st half of the campaign, which accounts for 30 minutes of real-time cutscenes.
My tasks:

  • Fixing visual bugs with lighting, characters, props and environments
  • Profiling and optimising rendering on console
  • Re-lighting for performance while matching the original cutscene quality
  • Tweaking VFX for performance and quality
